Dr. Kossi Edoh is a professor of mathematics and an assistant director of NC A&T Center for Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education. Prior to joining NC A&T, he was a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science at Montclair State University, New Jersey. He has taught courses in Statistics, Mathematics, and Computer Science over the years. He participated in the Office of Naval Research Summer Faculty Research Program at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Rhode Island in 2011 and 2012 and at the Space and Naval Warfare System Command Center in South Carolina in 2013 and 2014. His research areas include data science, information security, and numerical analysis. He is a recipient of a Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship to develop an MS program in data science at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, summer of 2017. He is currently a PI for the Research Experiences for Undergraduate program funded by the National Security Agency for the last 5 years. Dr. Edoh has a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Simon Fraser University, Canada, and took graduate courses in computer science at Old Dominion University, Virginia.
