Jesse Martinez earned a B.S.C.S. at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in 2012. He completed the Los Alamos National Laboratory’s Computer System, Cluster and Networking Summer Institute in 2011, where he was exposed to and found a passion for high performance computing (HPC) and high speed networking (HSN). Following graduation, Jesse joined Los Alamos’ HPC Networking Team as an HPC network administrator and now serves as its subject matter expert and team leader, managing the network infrastructure, including Ethernet, InfiniBand, and Omni-Path high speed networks for all of the HPC super computers. Jesse has presented his work on high speed network monitoring at various conferences including the Salishan HPC conference, and the OpenFabrics Alliance (OFA) Workshop. Jesse has a passion for mentoring others and has executed similar workshops in two prior Tapia Conferences.
