Elba Garza
Elba Garza is a PhD student at Texas A&M University. Her work focuses on making hardware predictive structures and policies more resilient to evolving computing demands. She holds a BSc in Computer Science from Columbia University, and an MSc from Princeton University. Her work has been featured in top-tier computer architecture conferences, earning accolades including the 2020 IEEE CS Lance Stafford Larson Student Award. She was named a 2020 Rising Star in EECS and a 2021 Google Scholar. She was diagnosed with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder - Predominantly Inattentive (ADHD-PI) in 2016 after over a decade of academic and personal struggles.
