Biography
Anita Raja is Professor of Computer Science at Hunter College and a member of the doctoral faculty at the Graduate Center, City University of New York. Her expertise is in decentralized control of multiagent systems operating in uncertain environments. Professor Raja has published more than 70 peer-reviewed articles in the area of distributed AI which has been supported by grants from NSF, NIH and DOD. She has co-chaired several undergraduate outreach and mentoring workshops and personally mentored over 50 undergraduates in the past two decades. She is a recipient of student-faculty research awards and best paper awards.
