Anna Kirkpatrick is a graduate student at the Georgia Institute of Technology and an NSF Graduate Research Program fellow. She is pursuing an interdisciplinary PhD in Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization. Her research focuses on the application of discrete mathematics and computer science to problems in biology. She is also a founding member and current Director of Social Initiatives of the ABLE Alliance at Georgia Tech, an organization that aims to provide resources, professional development, and social support to members of the Georgia Tech community with disabilities. Anna was selected as a Georgia Tech Diversity and Inclusion Fellow in 2019.
