Biography
Jason Cornelius received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Delaware State University in 2018. He is currently an assistant professor with the department of mathematics at University of Maryland Eastern Shore. His research interests lie in the area of numerical methods for solving Maxwell’s equations with applications to electrodynamics and optics. Specifically, he focuses on the simulation of electromagnetic waves in non-linear dispersive media. Additionally, he has interests in data analysis and classification algorithms.
