Siobahn Day Grady, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in Information Systems at North Carolina Central University. She is an Ambassador for the American Association for the Advancement of Science If/Then Initiative. She researches in the areas of Machine Learning and Human-Computer Interaction. Her work primarily focuses on providing methods to establish authorship of originating sources of information on online social networks. She uses machine learning and natural language processing to aid in determining the integrity of online sources. Additionally, Day participates in outreach activities to broaden participation in computing, especially promoting women and girls of color in STEM.
