Jennifer Tsan is a postdoctoral researcher studying K-12 CSEd in the CANON Lab at the University of Chicago. She is supervised by Dr. Diana Franklin. Jennifer earned her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from West Chester University. She earned her graduate degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University. Her doctoral research was on supporting upper elementary students collaborating while learning CS. She focused specifically on student dialogue and developing support to encourage good dialogue and turn-taking practices. Her current research is focused on scaffolded support for elementary students learning CS and on professional development for teachers.
