Kim Unertl, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Informatics in the School of Medicine at Vanderbilt University. Her research focuses on community engagement, clinical workflow, and organizational change management during technology implementation. As an educator, Dr. Unertl’s focus is on development of new pathways into biomedical informatics, including high school outreach and undergraduate internship programs. Dr. Unertl directs the Vanderbilt Biomedical Informatics Summer Program and is Director of Graduate Studies for the Vanderbilt research MS/PhD program in Biomedical Informatics.
