Ruth BlackHawk Cameron started with AISES in 2018 and is the AISES Senior
Programs Curriculum Officer. Ruth manages two Native Youth Community Projects for
Cheyenne River Lakota, Cherokee Foundation and Helen Powers Grants for the Eastern Band of
Cherokee, the Wells Fargo Financial Cents Curriculum, Kapor Center Computer Science
Curriculum for Native Girls, ANA SEDS curriculum, and the Intel Native Coders Program. She develops and maintains relationships with pre-college, college access, higher education, other related education professionals, and AISES affiliates to inform them of AISES curricula and student support opportunities. Ruth is a citizen of the Ho-Chunk and Lakota Nations.
