Christan Grant is an assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma in the College of Engineering’s School of Computer Science. Dr. Grant leads the OU Data Analytics Lab, where investigates projects on interactively analyzing large amounts of data, interacting with data in new ways, and bias and privacy issues of artificial intelligence. His work has been funded by the NSF, FAA, USDA, and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. He chaired the 2017 Broadening Participation in Data Mining workshop. Christan received his doctorate from the University of Florida database research lab as an NSF GRFP and LSAMP bridge to doctorate fellow.
