Lia is the fourth member to join the Byteboard team, and is working hard to build the infrastructure that powers the Byteboard interview. She previously worked on App Engine in Google Cloud. Lia loves to foster community in computer science and aims to increase access to resources for underrepresented groups. In service to this effort, she helped found the Women In Computing club at University of Rochester. As part of WIC, Lia led workshops for girls scouts on the basics of an algorithm, gave presentations on Computer Science to middle school students, and facilitated the “Hour of Code” at Rochester public schools. She was a TA for Automata Theory at her university, leading weekly workshops. Lia graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Computer Science from the University of Rochester.
