Minji Kong is a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Delaware. Her research focuses on co-designing with practicing K-8 computing teachers tools that augment complex teaching tasks, such as personalizing in-class support for students when programming in block-based environments, by blending aspects of Computing Education (CEd), Human-Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence, and Equity in CEd. Minji is a co-founder of The Papaya Project and a member of the Partner4CS team, an NSF-funded interdisciplinary effort towards strengthening CEd within diverse Delaware K-12 populations. Her research is supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.
