Andrea Tirres is Deputy Director of the Computing Alliance of Hispanic-Serving Institutions (CAHSI). She also supports interdisciplinary research as Associate Director within the Office of Research and Sponsored Projects at the University of Texas at El Paso. With CAHSI she trains staff within each region, builds partnerships with industry and nonprofit stakeholders, directs the Student Scholars Leadership Program, and co-manages the Allyship Program which targets women of color. She holds a M.P.Aff. from the LBJ School of Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA from Stanford University with a concentration in Race, Class, and Ethnicity.
