Carlos Bautista
Carlos is a Ph.D. student at the Computer Science and Applications program at Virginia Tech. He received the Industrial Design degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, in 2005, and the M.Sc. degree in integrated digital media from the Tandon School of Engineering at NYU, in 2016. His research interests are in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer-Supported Cooperative Work, Human Centered Design, and Sensor implementation and deployment for observing physiological changes. Carlos is a former TED Resident and Speaker with a talk in the development of an information system to help people in rural areas of the world to avoid landmines.
