Burcin Tamer is the Director of the Center for Evaluating the Research Pipeline (CERP) at the Computing Research Association (CRA). She earned her Ph.D. in Political Science from the Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Tamer's work at CRA aims to provide the evidentiary basis for broadening participation in computing fields through social science research and program evaluation. She also takes an active role in providing resources to the computing community to better understand the state of higher education in computing and work towards a more inclusive environment in the field.
