Jeanine received her PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2002 and has been working in tech since 1987, in industry, academia, and currently at a DOE national laboratory. Jeanine was injured in a car accident in 1984, resulting in parapalegia and complete dependence on a wheelchair for mobility. Jeanine has had decades of experience navigating education, employment, and life with a disability. Jeanine has served on numerous panels and national committees for persons with disabilities in STEM and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Minorities and People with Disabilities in IT (CMD-IT).
