Amber Solomon is a research scientist with the Department of Defense and a recent graduate of the Human-Centered Computing Ph.D. program at Georgia Tech. Her doctoral thesis investigated how space influences and appears in CS learning. Specifically, she used embodiment as a theoretical framework to document how students use space to make sense of computation and how teachers use space to explicate computation. Her research was supported by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, Google, and the Department of Defense.
