Hello ! My name is Anthony Gordon, a Senior Computer Science Major at Howard University. I'm currently a teaching assistant for the Applied Data Science class in the Computer Science Department at HU. My work experience includes working as a mentor in, "WatchMeCode," a summer mentorship program offered at HU designed to train inner-city middle and high school African American boys in programming, problem-solving, career development, and community engagement. I also have worked on curriculum reform as a research assistant in the Affective Biometrics Laboratory at Howard University. My goal in the future is to work as a data analyst in inner-cities, particularly urban areas full of African Americans, crafting data-driven solutions to solve socio-economic problems. My hobbies include working out, reading books on Christianity and Politics, and playing video games.
