Tzu-Yi Chen is a Professor of Computer Science at Pomona College. Her research interests include complex networks and CS education. She has Bachelor's degrees in math and computer science from MIT and MS and PhD degrees in computer science from Berkeley. She is the recipient of an NSF CAREER award and an NCWIT undergraduate research mentoring award. She co-leads a cohort of first-year Pomona students from underrepresented backgrounds who are interested in math and computer science. When not working she is most likely spending time with or on her two kids.
