Fernanda Eliott is an assistant professor of computer science at Grinnell College. Dr. Eliott builds Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems that use cognitive inspiration and Reinforcement Learning (RL) techniques. Dr. Eliott’s overall goal is to develop state-of-the-art cognitively inspired computational approaches to understand where meaningful decisions come from and to enhance human-technology partnerships through the development of AI systems that promote inclusion and assist people.
